
Law Clerk (Associate Attorney Pending Bar Passage)
Marjoeleen Labrador is a Licensed Professional Teacher and a Juris Doctor whose legal career began at a local law office in the Philippines under a retired judge. Over seven years, she gained practical experience in client relations, legal drafting, and procedural research. She began working with Damjan P. Denoble, Esq. at Frontera Labor in March 2024 as a Legal Assistant and was later promoted to Law Clerk after graduating from law school. In her current role, she assists in case strategy, document preparation, and client communication for all immigration matters being handled by Frontera Labor.
Academic Excellence
Marjoeleen earned her Juris Doctor degree from Rizal Memorial Colleges – School of Law, Davao City, Philippines, where she studied from 2021 to 2025. During law school, she was a scholar of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) for four consecutive years. After taking her oath as a Certified Law Student Practitioner, she was given the opportunity to formally appear on behalf of the Government and successfully handled the arraignment proceedings in five cases before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Davao City, Philippines. She was the first law student practitioner to do so under the Externship Program of the Justice Zone of Davao City, and in recognition of this achievement, she was awarded the Justice Leopoldo Abellera Service Award.
Professional Experience
Marjoeleen has over seven years of progressive experience in the legal field, focusing on immigration, administrative support, and case management. She began her legal career as an Office Clerk and later as a Legal Secretary at Llaban Law Office under retired MTC Judge Teresita Carreon Llaban, where she developed strong skills in legal documentation, client coordination, and court filing procedures.
In 2022, she joined the Office of the Provincial Governor and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cotabato, where she served as a Local Legislative Staff Assistant and later as an Administrative Assistant I, providing legislative and administrative support, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings for board members.
In 2024, Marjoeleen transitioned into U.S. immigration law as a Legal Assistant at fronteraTECH Law, and later at Frontera Labor, a U.S.-based firm specializing in employment-based visa programs such as the H-2B. Through consistent performance and dedication, she was promoted to Senior Legal Assistant and eventually to Law Clerk in 2025.
